Here at BHS-Home Improvements we are dedicated to providing as safe and secure online shopping experience as possible. We use an encrypted Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate to protect data and provide proof of our identity to you, our customer. Our SSL certificate is issued by Global Sign, a worldwide recognised authority for providing SSL. You can see this certificate in action whenever you are on a page that requires you to enter your personal address details. Your data is protected and this is reflected in the browser 'padlock' icon and the protocol for the page changing from 'HTTP' to 'HTTPS' in your browser address bar.

Payments are 'server integrated' with the payment gateway provided by SagePay. Therefore if you order online with us, none of our staff ever see or have access to your payment card details as our database does not ever take or store them. We receieve a payment to the value of your order and in the case of a refund, would simply reverse the destination of the funds, still not often requiring your payment card information to complete.

SagePay is a PCI Level 1 Compliant Service Provider, giving you peace of mind. Look for the "Sage (UK) Limited [GB]" green bar and/or padlock icon on your browser address bar when entering your details on the payment card pages (Note: actual graphic varies across browsers).

For additional security, we occasionally carry out a proof-of-address security check to ensure protection of both the customer and the company. This is done at random, so please do not be offended if you are included in this sample. Once this security check is cleared, your order will continue to be processed in the usual way.
