Shower Packages
Shower package is the generic term for shower door or shower panel that can be purchased separately, so that you can build a shower enclosure to your own requirement. The main types of shower packages are:
Pivot Door Packages
Pivot door shower packages are suitable mainly for square or rectangular shower trays. The door is attached to the package via hinges positioned at one side of the door, which allows almost the full width of the door to swing open giving easy access to the shower. Care must be taken when positioning this type of door to ensure it is unobstructed.
Sliding Door Shower Packages
Sliding door packages are available in a one or two door option. Suitable for square, rectangular and quadrant shower trays they operate by the doors sliding apart - normally on easy glide rollers - to give easy access to the shower.
Bi-fold Door Packages
Bi-fold door shower packages operate by the door concertinaing to one side of the package. This nsures easy access to the shower and is suitable mainly for either square or rectangular shower trays - an ideal solution where space is at a premium.
Hinged Shower Door Packages
Hinged door shower packages are suitable for square or rectangular shower trays. The door is attached to the package via hinges, which allows the full width of the door to swing open for easy access. Care must be taken when positioning this type of package to ensure there are no obstructions.
As well as being suitable for use with a shower tray, a shower package can also be stood directly on the floor when used as part of a wet room.
