Shower Hoses
While the shower hose may not seem like a very important consideration when buying a new shower, it can have a big impact on how the shower performs. For example, if you have a low pressure water system (with a water tank in the loft) then you needs to create as little friction as possible for the water to flow through in order to deliver a powerful shower.
Small & Large Bore Shower Hoses
In this instance, a large bore hose - which has a wider diameter for the water to travel through - is recommended. Small-bore shower hoses are typically used on high-pressure systems where the water is pumped under pressure to the showerhead.
Shower hoses come in a range of different lengths: 1.2, 1.5 or 1.75 metre and are available in a choice of wonderful finishes from clean looking white to beautiful sparkling chrome.
