Steel Baths
Steel baths are still a popular alternative to acrylic baths; steel baths have been on the market for a long time and were introduced as a lighter weight alternative to a cast iron bath. One of the benefits of a steel bath is that once the bath has hot water inside it, the steel will hold the heat a lot longer then an acrylic bath would allowing you to have a bath that stays warmer for longer.
Heat Retention for Long Baths
Steel baths are available generally in white but other colour selections may be available with a longer delivery lead-time. Steel baths can be without a tap hole; this is so you can position your tap anywhere on the bath at your convenience, but some will come pre-drilled with one tap hole, two tap holes or even three tap holes.
All steel baths will have a waste diameter of around 40mm so you can fit a standard bath waste, plug and chain bath waste or even a pop up bath waste where you twist the overflow section of the waste to active the pop up system at the bottom of the bath.
