Bath Wastes & Traps
Plumbing manufacturers have produced a wide variety of plastic wastes and traps to suit most applications. The most commonly used material – MuPVC - is a hard plastic used for solvent weld waste and fittings.
Simple Bath Wastes
Waste traps are made by incorporating a plastic universal compression joint. This allows it to be dismantled easily when access is required to a particular area in the waste flow.
As well as the usual common types of joints (tees, elbows and swept bends for example) there are various other traps used in waste applications, such as p traps, s traps and bottle traps for basins, shallow bath wastes and shower wastes.
