Acrylic Shower Trays
Acrylic shower trays are made in the same way as acrylic baths, and are reinforced by a solid baseboard, some generally come with adjustable legs, enabling pipe work to be run above floor level.
Acrylic Shower trays are foam filled, the foam filled acrylic shower tray that first appeared in the 70’s had no reinforcing and acted like a trampoline before inevitably cracking, which is why reinforcing is essential on an acrylic shower tray.
A Huge Range of Durable Designs
The finish on an acrylic shower tray will generally outlast stone resin trays, but they are generally more expensive than a stone resin shower tray. An acrylic shower tray will generally be compatible with any shower enclosure that is fitted to it, but some will need to have up stands on the exterior edge to fit certain shower enclosures.
Acrylic shower trays are available in many different shapes, from a standard square acrylic shower tray, to a rectangular acrylic shower tray, quadrant or offset acrylic shower tray, and even a walk-in acrylic shower tray.
