Shower Wastes & Traps
Shower tray wastes are typically manufactured from silicon sealed to the tray and secured with a plastic nut that is provided with the waste.
Chromium Plate Shower Wastes
Most modern wastes are supplied with a detachable centre section which allows blockages to be easily cleared. Shower wastes are available in two heights: either 1 ½" for a standard tray or 2 ½ for a deep tray. The majority of shower wastes are finished in sparkling chromium plate.
Shower traps are generally a shallow seal trap made from a high quality high-density polyethylene material. This tough material is impervious to extreme temperatures from freezing to boiling and is unaffected by any chemicals normally used in the house.
