Vitra was founded in Turkey in 1942 to produce high quality sanitaryware. Since its humble beginnings, the company has expanded and now has (as well as its three factories in Turkey) manufacturing plants in Arklow, Ireland and Engers, Germany. Today these factories export to more than 80 countries making Vitra a world famous brand leader in sanitaryware.
