Counter basins can have either one tap hole or two tap holes, but are generally one tap hole so they can have a monobloc basin or sink mixer tap on them with the feature of a pop up waste incorporated within the tap, so no need for a plug and chain waste.
Counter basins come in a variety of different sizes ranging from 500mm upwards. The size you require purely depends on the width of the countertop or worktop that the basin is going to be placed into.
