This slotted metal swivel basin waste has a unique spring loaded mechanism so that when pressure is applied to the top of the plug, the plug raises out of the waste releasing the water. No more unsightly chains and plugs or no more losing the plug, or having the basin chain snap off. The waste is attached to the ceramic basin by means of a plastic back nut which is supplied with the waste.
