A modern style wall mounted bath/shower mixer with a single control lever.
The short quarter turn ceramic disc lever, make it easier to use and will offer trouble free maintenance over the years. The tap is operated by lifting the lever to get the correct flow of water and by turning the lever to the left to increase and to the right to decrease the water temperature. The water is delivered by means of a smart tubular spout.
There is an automatic diverter to control the water from the bath filler to the showerhead, and the Excel bath shower mixer comes complete with a chrome plated shower hose, handset and wall bracket.

The pressure of the water is entirely dependent upon the water supply so, if you have relatively low water pressure you may consider fitting a booster pump.
Changes in water pressure during operation of the shower will cause a change in the water temperature from the showerhead. If for example, somebody uses a tap on the basin, this will cause a drop in the water pressure to the shower. This can be an unwelcome surprise if it turns cold but can be more serious if the temperature increases. If others using other appliances whilst showering is a problem, then a pressure equalising valve can help.
